He thought nobody would notice of course but it's the Master's job to make sure all the boys are accounted for!
This infraction of the rules will certainly not go unpunished. Thompson will be getting a good slippering and a hard Sharpe style spanking to follow! Exactly what irresponsible seniors like Thompson need to wake them up a bit!
