As we head in to winter looking back at summer it was not only hot but the most stable European weather we have known for a while. Many of the outdoor shoots STG were involved in were set up at least a week before almost knowing for certain that the weather would be fine when it came to the actual shoot and of course it was. Also at the coming end of this year we can look back and see that a great deal has been achieved. The long awaited Premium Area is open and I can tell you it was just one monumental struggle to set it up. It nearly put Rob in the mad house! All sorts of delays, some reasons you just couldn’t put in to a script but now its there we’ll keep feeding it and keep sorting any glitches that occur and make it one of the best spanking Premium Areas available on the net. We priced it at about the same a monthly adult publication and styled it the same as an online magazine. Jonathan Fox who now looks after this new venture has all sorts of fresh ideas to input as we go so it will continue to build in to something well worth looking at.

Reformatory USA DVD too could be described as monumental. This project is back on the edit table again and only the fact that we have had to take it off and put it back on in between producing download stories has slowed its finalizing down. Its been quite a financial balancing act to not only move but to set up a new studio and keep all the old Sting features going too. I’m pleased to say this is all settling down now. We have always principally been a film producers and after the pressing of Reformatory USA we hope to resume the more speedy output of full DVD titles like say St Datchets Academy, Grey Shorts and My Borstal Days, etc.
Hornet Pictures new web site is being constructed and this will be a new feature from STG Pictures Ltd. Many of the Sting lad’s faces will be found here excelling in the other side of their modelling careers they do so well! DVDs produced by Hornet Pictures will be made with the same filmic care that goes in to the Sting productions. A good story line, fitting locations, great action and costuming to match the chosen subject. We have teamed up with a director and producer the get the best out of the splendid locations available and highly professional model agencies and of course models. More about this new project will appear in due course.

We are now also planning the launch of STG Distributors. Having recently attended the Venus adult fair in Berlin it now follows that STG, Sting and Hornet should be get better involved with distribution especially in Europe where there are numerous adult stores that stock DVDs. I have to say here that again compared to the UK the Venus show was a real eye opener. A huge affair set in an exhibition centre similar to Earls Court. Everything was attended to in a very business like way with nothing swept under the carpet. The pressing of all our titles using glass mastering will be become normal procedure for the future. These precisely manufactured DVDs are a lot more stable than burned copies and rarely corrupt.

Quite a few new faces are joining Sting and we are just completing arrangements with a British agency to fly lads in to take on the dramatic roles in some of the stories. We hope to maintain that quintessentially British appeal, always the hall mark of Sting productions and our approach to story telling. The European lads are often quite hunky and finding that slimmer twink like style is difficult. We hope this mix will set the balance that we are continually looking for.

So onwards in to autumn and of course the end of the year and Christmas. Thanks again all of you for your support, it is as ever greatly appreciated by the now growing but a hard working team in Sting Pictures.
